Abstract

The following article provides the findings of the research on the viability and technological signs of new selection lines of the silkworm. A comparative study has revealed a considerable difference in cocoons’ shape, viability and technological parameters. High metric indices and floss strength of the Lines 102 and 66 allow them to be used in obtaining new combinations of industrial hybrids.
