DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR PRODUCING YARN FOR TEXTILE INDUSTRY FROM LOCAL WOOL

Abstract

The research presented in this article was carried out as part of the scientific project F-A-2018- 005 «Development of technology for the production of yarn for textile industry from local wool.» the effect of the type of surfactant on the quality of the washing process of local wool fiber was studied. Based on the experimental results, it was recommended to use Sulfanol NP-1 as a surfactant to increase the wettability of the fiber, preserving its length and the efficiency of removing non-proteinaceous impurities from the wool. A technological sequence has been developed for obtaining high-quality competitive yarn from local wool washed in accordance with the proposed methodology and composition.
