NEW FABRIC STRUCTURES FOR NATURAL SILK HEADSCARVES AND THEIR PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

The article presents the results of research on the development of new fabric structures for natural silk headscarves and their production technology. The deep processing of cocoons, production of finished silk products, the development of new structures are the important issues to be considered. As is known, fabric for headscarves consists of interwoven warp and weft yarn, produced by plain weaving. The structure of this fabric has been known for quite some time and its range is limited. In order to expand the range of fabrics for headscarves, from natural silk, new fabric structures for headscarves based on twill weaving and the technology for their production have been developed. A technological chain for the production of a new fabric structure for headscarves, technological parameters for rewinding, crushing, twisting of threads and for the development of a new fabric structure on a loom has been developed. The results can be applied to the enterprises for silk industry. A new silk fabric structure for headscarves and its production technology have been introduced to «Bukhаrа Brilliant Silk».
