CONSTRUCTION DESIGN AND STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF PARTS GUIDING ROLLER MECHANISM OF TAPE CONVEYORS
Abstract
The mechanism that performs the rotary motion on the belt conveyor is a guide roller, one part of which rotates smoothly, the other part acts as a rotating sliding support instead of a rolling bearing. This means that a constant increase in dust and moisture in the place where the conveyor is installed will cause the machine to stop due to the hardening of the rolling bearings. To solve this important problem, instead of the roller bearing on the guide roller mechanism, which acts as the basic rotational movement on the conveyor belt, it is recommended to use a plastic and composite elastic material, resistant to abrasion, friction, acting as a sliding base. For this purpose, this part is recommended as an important innovation in the production of constructive design work based on the results of scientific research.
