TECHNOLOGY OF POLYCOMPONENT YARN PRODUCTION

FULL TEXT:

Abstract

This paper presents properties of cotton, viscose, and silk fibers. In this article, special attention is being paid to an increase in the number of new types of raw materials for weaving and knitting products. The purpose of the study is to select silk, cotton and viscose fibers according to technological parameters and produce poly-component yarn. The possibility of using cuts from the tension rollers of imported silk reeling machines in production of yarn, as well as the rational proportion of mixture components, has been substantiated. The possibility of producing poly-component yarn by means of existing cotton spinning technology with a significantly higher breaking characteristic than pure cotton has been proven. It has been established that inclusions of fibers that have great uniformity in all the main indicators of viscose fiber, as well as natural silk with low linear density, increase friction forces between fibers and ensure a silky external effect to products made from them. The movement of fibers on the drawing device of a draw frame is being considered and the reasons for possible deviations from the linear density of the yarn have been established
