STUDY OF A NEW ASSORTMENT OF WEAVES OF RAINCOAT FABRICS

Abstract

This article provides information about domestic companies specializing in manufacture of cotton raincoat fabrics. Based on the requirements for raincoat fabrics, it was clear that the issue had found its solution at the stage of theoretical approach to the development of raincoat fabrics using different fiber compositions.
In course of the fabric manufacture by means of loom, the warp and weft threads are formed under mutual pressure. Warp and weft threads with densities of 50 Tex were used for making different types of the raincoat fabric. Production volumes of raincoat fabrics at weaving enterprises incorporated with “Uztextilprom” association, are presented in this article, too. The degree of sterility of fibers in nature has been explored. The indicators, physical and mechanical properties of woven fabrics, methods of their interweaving, and fiber content were also reviewed. Bending heights of threads in raincoat fabrics have been theoretically justified as a result of determining the optimal tension values of the warp and weft threads on a loom
