INCREASING ENERGY AND RESOURCE EFFICIENCY THROUGH THE AUTOMATION OF PUMP OPERATION MODES IN MINING CONDITIONS

FULL TEXT:

Abstract

This article explores the possibilities of increasing energy and resource efficiency through the automation of centrifugal pump units used in mining enterprises.
The implementation of automated pump systems in underground mines, and open-pit operations allows for energy and resource savings, reduces emergency situations, and creates comfortable, and dry working conditions for personnel and equipment.
The article analyzes methods for managing pump installations through automation, reducing energy consumption in mines, and optimizing resource efficiency. Pump installations in mines must work under various conditions, which significantly impact their efficiency. Automated control enables precise regulation of their operating modes based on clearly defined parameters, contributing to energy savings and reductions in mechanical and electrical costs. Furthermore, the article examines the impact of automation systems on optimizing mining production processes, their role in reducing maintenance and repair costs, and the potential for improving overall production eficiency. It also discusses the application of modern innovative technologies in pump control systems, their integration, and the environmental aspects of energy resource utilization through automated systems. The research results indicate that automating mine pump systems enhances production efficiency, conserves resources, and ensures environmental protection. The article presents practical experiments and conclusions based on real operational conditions in the Zarmitan mine. This research provides comprehensive information on the role, benefits, and economic effciency of automated mine dewatering systems in the mining industry.
