WAYS TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE TRANSSHIPMENT UNIT
Abstract
The article describes a moving device used for transporting cotton through pipes in warehouses located remotely from the main building within the area of cotton ginning enterprises. Research and literary review have been carried out in view of boosting up the efficacy of the moving device. As a result of the analysis, a new design of the drive device is being proposed. As well as in the improved version of the drive device, the movement of the cotton flow was theoretically studied, differential equations of motion were created and solved using Maple software, and corresponding graphs - retrieved. The graphs show that at the rational value of the slope angle α3 = 600, the majority of cotton flows into the main pipe. In this way, in course of initial processing at cotton ginning enterprises, the initial quality parameters of the raw materials are preserved, free fibers are prevented from being mixed with air and waste.
